ok...did the search..never got an answer. would this work. d16a6..with d16a1 pistons and rods? or are the a6's rods just as strong and would it just be eazier to have the pistons just pressed on the a6 rods. i have a 91 si hatch. what do u think would be the possible hp, 1/4 mile times of this combo...maybe with 50shot..

 

it works nicely. but use the pistons/rods out of an 88-89 integra, not the 86-87. the 88-89 D16A1 pistons have a higher dome than the 86-87. (more compression) good luck with it.
also- do an archived search for topics created by "B18C5-EH2" . he did a pretty nice write-up on this, and has some good tech in the particular thread.

thank shawn. and i do have the 88-89 a1 pistons. they have a pretty high dome on them.not those flat top pos's
