It's the fuse on your alarm brain. The park lights are fine. It's just a fuse. It's happened to me many times before.
the parks lights are ok, cuz they go on. It's just when I arm or disarm my car alarm. Where exactly is the fuse on the brain?? is it inside the unit??
thanks!

I was just asking where the fuse is located. My alarm was installed by DEI and wanted to ask around b4 I call them. I just never heard of a fuse being inside the brain for the "park light relay"
it's more than likly not in the alarm.
the fuses off off the DEI harness are about 8" or so from the brain unit terminal connector. If i recall correctly though, there is not a fuse for the parking light circuit only. would have to go check wiring diagram, but that's what i remember.
anyway, did they also install a relay for this circuit? it's not necessary, but could have been done. relay may be bad, slim chance, but still a chance.
more info would help me help you.

i actually just got back from lunch... and... my lights worked after disarming and arming my alarm when i stepped out... but coming back, after parking my car... again no confirmation.... do you guys think i have something loose underneath my column...???
dude. you need to realize that is isn't very easy to troubleshoot this over the net.
where is the PLC circuit tied into from the alarm? WHere are the ground wires from the alarm? What alarm are you using. were connections crimped or soldered.
my best guess would be the connection from the brain to the PLC. second guess would be their ground wire. other than that i can't offer much intelligent help.

- PLC is more than likly tapped into above the drivers kick pannel.

Same thing happened to my GSR... it was a fuse for the alarm. Mine was located in the underside of the steering column. I had the alarm person replace the fuse and that's where it was located. I didn't see where it was exactly, but he just told me underneather the column.
