Default Seatbelts in my '91 si..... dilemna with obd2 and gravity switch, etc.....

The long and short of the situation is that during my motor swap, I had decided to convert to obd2:

The only thing not compatible is the seatbelts..... Gravity switch/ pre-tensioner don't work. So what to do? I HATE THE 90-91 SEATBELTS IN THE DOORS!

Should I convert to 88-89 type doors/ seatbelts? (For some reason, I think it's too complicated/ impossible.)

Or put harnesses in there? (Not good without a cage in case of rollover on track.)

Please don't comment on "why obd2?" or "what swap you runnin, yo?" type of responses please..... I will post up when my project is done.

Ken, if you're doing what I think you're doing, just put a cage in there and use harnesses.

I know what he's doing, and I agree that a cage and harnesses would be the way to go.

I talk to Joey a lot.
