Seatbelts in my '91 si..... dilemna with obd2 and gravity switch, etc.....

Seatbelts in my '91 si..... dilemna with obd2 and gravity switch, etc.....
The long and short of the situation is that during my motor swap, I had decided to convert to obd2:
The only thing not compatible is the seatbelts..... Gravity switch/ pre-tensioner don't work.
So what to do? I HATE THE 90-91 SEATBELTS IN THE DOORS! 
Should I convert to 88-89 type doors/ seatbelts? (For some reason, I think it's too complicated/ impossible.)
Or put harnesses in there? (Not good without a cage in case of rollover on track.)
Please don't comment on "why obd2?" or "what swap you runnin, yo?" type of responses please..... I will post up when my project is done.

I know what he's doing, and I agree that a cage and harnesses would be the way to go.
