Default greddy turbo Si problems with install.

Installed the kit with no intercooler on a friends car. And it bogs real bad in lower rpms but drives fine in high rpms. Is this normal for a greddy turbo kit? Is the blue box causing this? Need help thanks.

i dont know if you mean b16 turbo. but my d16 greddy kit works fine. People tell me if you install the blue box wrong, you will get a cel. you might want to check if there is a boost leak, and make sure the wastegate is working ok

check your wiring. you shouldnt have any problems at all if everything is wired properly.

i did have a lot of confusion with the map sensor wire on the diagram. Does it connect to the map sensor directly or to the map sensor wire on the ecu? if its the ecu the diagram didn't tell me which wire is the map sensor wire. Do you guys know which wires it is? thanks, i through a missfire code while test driving it today.
this kit is on a 99 Si.

I hooked mine up to the wire on the ECU...if you hooked it up to the wrong wire...like, if you didnt get the map sensor wire, your car would drive with a cel and run like crap. hope your blue box is working correctly...

the greddy blue box INTERCEPTS the map sensor wire and changes the readings accordingly. i say recheck your wiring.

if i remember correctly...3 wires you splice into the map sensor wires and one wire
will run to the ecu, but if you hooked it up wrong...you will be throwing codes.

IMO I think that it is your fuel problem. What your injector cc? did you tune the car with wideban o2 sensor? Does this happen when you floor it in low rpm ?

And for the map wire, I think it the pressure sire in the ECU wire diagram. According to what apexi said...

also need help with greddy kit (18G) if i get no codes on the "blue box" does that mean its wired correctly? If it is wired correctly, why is my car idling like crap? Sounds like the motor is about to die.
