Ecsta's or Victoracers? hmm...
I started out running on Yoko's old school A008's (I & II) last year. Loved 'em, but in a 185/65/13 there was just way too much sidewall.
This past year, I was forced to move up in wheel size due to a brake upgrade and found a set of 15" GSR wheels (fat-fives) real cheap so I picked them up. When searching for a good set of R's to go on them, I stumbled across a road-racer who was selling off his "once used" R's. He had Victors and Ecsta's in 205/50/15. I snagged the Ecsta's, but have yet to get them on the car and really see what they can do.
Which of the two do you guys prefer? I still have the opportunity to get a set of the Ecsta's from him as well.
Anyone here move up from 13's to 15's on their vehicle? Was the decreased sidewall a major improvement?

Depending on how old those Esctas are, they might be the same compound as the Victoracers. Look on the side of the tire, if it has K8A then it is Victoracer compound. K6A is the new compound.
Are you going to use these for AutoX, HPDE, or Racing?

...especially for a dry track.
