Good All Season tires
Any recommendations? I live in Colorado so there is snow! But I also use my stock 15's to race at the track so I would like something that is respectable at the track. Setup is a 96 accord, 98 h22a, and 80hp direct port shot. I dont really want to go over ~$80 a tire though.
do have to drive this in car in snow storms? being in CO i would think you would want a real set of snow tires for the winter.
if you insist on all-season then dunlop SP A2s or bridgstone RE950s are good. the problem is your not going to get good times with an all season tire with that much power, especially a cheap cheap tires. RE950s are kinda pricey, but probably your best bet for a tire to drag race with and have decent snow traction.

Kind of a pain in the *** to have 2 sets, although thats the way it should be. I dont like the prospect of changing the tires every season since i only have one set of wheels. what do you have to offer for drag tires?
I've got the dunlop SP sport A2s on my car and I love them. excellent in the rain, pretty good in snow if it's not too deep, and dry weather traction is better than you would expect from a tire labeled as all-season. they are around $55 from tirerack.com too so you can't beat the price

well depending on how lowered you are you may not be able to get through 5 inchs of snow regardless of tires.
i will say that i'm dropped with eibach pro-kit and tokicos for about 1.5 inches and with my dunlop graspic ds-1s i got through some pretty deep snow that i could not have gotten through with my old dunlop d60 a2s (old version of sp a2s).
i really think real snow tires are the way to go if you drive in snow storms.

mine went pretty well as long as the bottom of the car wasn't dragging in it. I'm dropped on prokits so yeah 4 or 5 inches is about the limit. I did drive in snow that was "deeper" - according to the weatherman at least but it was all packed down on the roads so it's kinda hard to say exactly.
