Default bolt ons for 6th gen

Ive been hearing that the only worthwhile bolt on (not talkin bout FI) for the 6th gen is an intake. Is this true? What have you heard about headers and exhausts for the 6th gen? any good ones out there (not talkin bout rare stuff like JUN)? And yes ive searched already and the last post was over a year ago and it was no help.

I stuck a short ram intake on my 02 accord the other day. The intake was rather oversized because it was for either a '98 or '99 accord, but bigger is better in this case. I doubt it gives me noticeable hp, but it sounds cool

If your talking V6, then there have been some big gains from intake and cat back, though headers are expensive for that.

If you mean the I4, then FI is the way to go. Thats what I'm saving up for now. From intake and catback on that, its better, though its a lot of money for like .2 sec off the 1/4 mile.

First off, you have to tell us if you have the I4, or V6 Accord. Here is some info on both types.

I4 Quite a number of posts about this sort of thing. Here's one. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=449512

You can go all motor if you want to, but you better have a huge wallet. N/A builds are not cheap by any means. But if you still want to go this route, get a header, and exhaust system. Then, get an FPR, cam gear, and if you want, pullies. You can also upgrade the throttle body. Top that off with a V-AFC, and hit the dyno for best results.

The F23 is boost friendly. F-Max offers a turbo kit for about $3800. A custom turbo is another option. iam7head has experience in this area.

V6 Add an exhaust system, and a set of Comptech headers will cost you a bundle. Comptech does make a S/C for the V6. About the same price as the F-Max turbo kit listed above. Low boost, and heard about low power gains.

Not as many performance parts available for the V6 as the I4.
