Damn VTEC problems...HELP!

okay, i plugged in a 1996 GSR ecu into my 1996 integra ls/vtec and the vtec isnt working and it has a rev limiter of 6500
, what do i do to get it to rev to 8000 and turn on the vtec?

yes, the speedodometer is working, and yeah its in limp mode, ill check the code and post it here in a day or two. thanx!
Probably code 21 and/or 22.
VTEC doesn't put the computer in limp mode, with VTEC disabled, the ECU redline for the primary lobes is just lower, that's all.
Check the VTEC solenoid and jump it.
You can do this by unplugging the solenoid, and taking a wire from the + on the battery, and with the wire touch the plug pin going to the solenoid. It should click.
Also, you need to make sure the oil level is completely full, and you also have a properly oil line coming from the back of the block to the head.
Where did you tap the oil line?
