Default a couple of mini me questions

ok car is 99 civic hatch stock motor
i have a d16z6 head and i/m
now what timing belt should i use, stock headgasket should work fine? any think i have to plug or take out? and the stock 99 dx distributor should work right?

any help would be great

i drive a dx and i need head and tranny. i about to buy a whoel EX swap cuz u need so many things.

would probably hurt with the dx tranny, it would stay out of vtec,
I am looking foran ex or si tranny myself. I blew mine. Some people say you have to use your dizzy but cut the tangs for accurate timing

I know that the distributor will not bolt directly to the head but it will work if you modify it. I think you need to notch one leg and widen another bolt hole. You need to remove the small oil jet in the back of the block up top where the head bolts on. I'm not too sure on which head gasket and timing belt to recommend.

timing belt should be the same part number, Most stores, napa, autozone only have the y8 gasket its the thinnest but it will work fine
