when boosted wit the AEM EMS and wanna use the EMS for boost control over a external boost controller, do you jus need the gm 3 bar map sensor and a AEM boost selenoid/
if so where to get the selenoid

Yes, if you want to regulate boost over the value of your wastegate, then you will need a boost control selenoid, such as the GM Boost Selenoid.
If you are going to run more than 11 psi, you will also need a higher rate map sensor, such as the gm 3 bar map sensor. If you boost higher on a stock map sensor, say at 14 psi, the map sensor will only read 11 psi and therefore bad things will happen.
The GM # for the 3BAR is 16040749, the AC Delco Cross Ref is 213-101. The wiring pigtail for the 3BAR is discontinued since it was only used on the Turbo TA and Buick GN but a 2BAR pigtail can be purchased and modified, if you order a 3BAR pigtail you will get the 2BAR. A standard Weatherpack 3prong straight connector works with modifications as well. The pigtail is GM # 12085502 and AC Delco # PT-123.
GM#1997152 is the boost control selenoid. I dont remember the pigtail part number, but its a generic plug you can go to pep boys and chances are they will have it
I would check gmpartsdirect.com they usually have good prices

the pigtail is just the wiring harness that plugs into the 3 bar map sensor and has 3 wires coming out of the plug so you can wire it up to your engine harness. you need it.
