Default VIR from Richmond -- 85 or 360?

Which is the faster way to get to VIR from Richmond, 85 or 360?
Mapquest says 360, VIRs website says to go 85.

Take 95 south past Petersburg and take I-85 south at the spilt.

Coming down from Philly, using 360 saves at least 30 minutes, probably more.

360 to 58 is definitely quicker than 95 to 85 to 58.

LOL, it depends on what time you're coming thru, esp from the north.

The obvious way is 95S to 195S to 288S to 360 (Hull Street.)

However, Hull has a bunch of stoplights and there is a good bit of traffic thru there on Friday evening. There are also two toll plazas when you go this way.

SO the revised way, which is a few miles further but skips the tolls and dumps you onto 360 out past most of the stoplights (therefore making it faster) is:

95S to 288N to 360.

HTH,

Jon

Yep, that's how I usually go. I can't believe I forgot 288, it's my favorite Ferrari (though the 360 isn't shabby!). Thanks!

I almost feel the same way about the 288. One of my faves.

Mike - who likes the F40 more than the F50, like he really has a decision like that to make.
