90 w hot cabin--won't start
First, my apologies if this is an often made request. I tried the search without luck; probably didn't know what to search for...
My daughter has a '90 Accord that won't start when the inside of the car is hot from having been in the sun with the doors/windows closed. The engine will turn over, but the car just won't start.
I've noticed that when turning the car over, the usual idiot lights come on while turning over, then after several seconds of turning, the "sport mode" light starts to blink (the others just stay on solid). I've looked in the Hayne's manual, but it doesn't say anthing about this behavior.
Does anyone know what is causing this, and if so, how would I fix it? New ECU?
TIA,
Tom

The transmission-control computer uses the sport lamp just like the check-engine light. I don't have a '90, so I won't be much more help than that.
Search for how to pull check-engine codes, I think it's the same to pull transmission fault codes. The sport light will blink the transmission error codes, while the CEL will blink the engine error codes.
