rebuilding turbo for the sake of learning. need turbo experts advice
I've got a t3/t4 I want to rebuild. I was planning on selling it for cheap but I figured since I have the time, why don't I just rebuild it myself. It's not in terrible condition but I ws told the seals would atleast need replacing. I was doing a bit of research and go to thinking. Can't I swap in a to4s compressor housing and possibly upgrade the wheels? Possibly to some garrett gt spec one? Or is that not possible?

Ghetto D on http://www.homemadeturbo.com did a write up a while back on rebuilding his turbo with one of those ebay rebuild kits.
