Default Anyone else have their Fields SFC-VTEC Controller go out on them?

I've had mine for 3 year now, and this past friday mine called it quits. Who else has this happen to them? Do you know why? I ask because my shop told me that they have had to uninstall several Fields Controllers, because the unit consistently goes bad and messes up the fuel. (I even heard a story about a Type R getting his ECU fried - this was around the time I bought mine)

Story:
In the middle of the day, my engine just started to lose all this power. When I hit the thorttle, the engine would seriously delay. And when my car finally moved, I sputtured down the street. At idle, I started to register like 300 on my analog gauge, and around 400 on my Fields controller. Stationary revs would bring my car on the brink of dieing (needle would hit the 0 RPM mark and bounce back to around 400/500). Of course, the engine light did come on. I took it to my shop, and they plugged the car into their OBD II Computer. The Map sensor had real abnormal high voltage readings. Anyways, after a crap load of trial and error, the tech finally saw my Fields controller and immediately diagnosed it to be the culprit. Once we took the controller out. Everything was back to normal.

They tried to keep the VTEC Controlling mechanism entact, but that later failed this weekend, and I've been riding around without the ability to engage VTEC.

I have had mine for a little over 6 months and I bought it used. I had it go out on me as in not want to turn on. somehow or another after checking all the wires going to the ecu it all of a sudden started to work again. Nothing like you described. Just turn the controller off and it should go back to normal. Good luck bro.
