Default Timing Belt Question

I got my car inspected somewhere about 2 weeks ago, they told me I needed new wiper blades lol, but they also told me I should get a new timing belt as well, the lude is close to 100,000 so I figured it wouldn't hurt, they also said I needed a new Fuel filter, but for parts and labor they quoted me over 400 dollars, can any one tell me a round about price on the labor for JUST the timing belt? that's the thing i'm more concerned with. Thanks in advance.

the timing belt will take between 4-6 hours to do if they're slow and they will usually change the water pump too. dunno the typical labor rate, but i hope the time gives you an idea.

if you`re gonna change the timing belt, You might as well go ahead and change the waterpump, balance shaft belt, and tensioner while your at it. It cost me about 400 when i got all of that done. The timing belt in itself only cost around 70 bucks but labor really kills you.

I paid 560 something; parts and labor.
Included were: all belts, water pump, cam seals, auto tensioner, new coolant, and all related seals, gaskets, misc. stuff. Don't know where youre at, or I'd reccomend the place to you. They also did my clutch install.
