Where is the plug on the 98 accord for checking the ecu codes?
i have a check engine light in the 98 accord and i tried to find it under the passenger side but its not there. anyone knows where
Or you could go to AutoZone & have them plug in a scanner (for free). Get them to tell you the code number, not just their description of what's wrong. It'll be the letter P followed by a 4-digit number.
If they don't want to clear the code for you, you can unplug the #13 fuse in the right-side doorjamb fusebox. But if the problem isn't fixed, the light will eventually come back on.

OK, now how might I do this on a 96 Civic LX? (I realize this is an Accord thread, but I need to do the exact same thing on my Civic and I can't find the damn ECU LED for the life of me, I suspect there isn't one and I need to do something like this).
