checking code on 98 accord
hey my friends accord has a check engine light on her 98 accord. how do you check the code? i looked on the passenger side kick panel but could not find the loose connector. can someone tell me how to pull the code without using a scanner. thanks

They don't have aservice check connector. You have to jump pins 4 and 9 of the data link connector.

If you pick up a Haynes manual, in chapter 6 it tells how to jump the pins and read the code. I'll share that info later, when my book and car returns home tomorrow.
