Default ground control, adapter needed or no for konis?

i'm about to purchase a set of ground controls locally and the guy said they would fit my konis because he said in the paperwork it said it would fit tokicos and ground controls? does that mean i wont need adapters? Someone said the new gc's have the adapter built in. Those of you with the new koni ground controls, does it say so in your paperwork? thanks
