Default question about the hood and body.

I got into an accident earlier this year and I was wondering how you would fix that little hump near the windshield where the hood pops up.

can't figure out why the hood pops up near the headlight also. ( frame is off a lil) And hood is closed.
Sorry if the pictures don't work.

for the front. Try to loosen the bolt on the spring. THen use a flat and adjust the length of the Latch.

For fixing the hood by the windshield, you can try getting a hood hinge from the junkyard. It might be bent.

What he said above about the hood spring is probably the right way to do it but another thing did you check the rubber stoppers on both ends of your hood? Those could be down too far causing it to be up high.

the rubber isn't touching the headlight support so I'm just going to to try to adjust the spring.

As someone said make sure the hinge isnt bent. But what I would do is make sure all 4 bolts are in the hood holding it in place, if there not one end will sit up a little higher, due to it not being down all the way. You could try to put a little bend in it, its an old school way, take like a peice of wood, put it in the middle and bned down softly, not hard enough to crease, but enough to push down just enough. A lot of parts on my car were put together that way, because the frame is off a bit.

No he's talking about bending the hood itself slightly.
