Default higher altitude

well, i was wondering if how to reset my ecu for when i goto colorado.

i currently live in missouri, and when i goto colorado, my car is way underpowerd due to the altitude. and was curious on how to change this.

Unplug the battery for 10 mins. Plug it up again, turn on the car, all accesories off, and let it IDLE for 5 mins.

welcome to colorado, where all the cars feel underpowered

I can't even imagine how well my car would run at sea level. It's slow as hell here. I need a turbo bad

I think you can also pull the fuse for the ECU under the hood in the fuse box next to the battery. That way, all of you clocks and stereo won't reset.

I have never driven any car at sea level before. It has always been 4800 feet up. Utah has lower octane points too, I would think higher altitudes would need to have higher octane ratings, but what do I know?
