Default Brake problem

Recently I noticed my brake light to be staying on a lot. After checking the brake fluid I noticed it was low. If I fill it up it seems to last about 4 days or so and then the fluid is almost gone. As soon as it starts to get low the brake pedal will get mushy of course, but it seems to be really soft when sitting at a stop light for an extended period of time with my foot on the brake. Eventually it will just sink to the floor. But under normal driving pedal feel is normal. Any idea what is causing this? Leaky brake lines, bad MC? Give me some suggestions to start checking.

check where your car is normally parked every night. Is there any residue of brake fluid on the ground? If so, what area is it leaking from. could be bad if its your lines leaking. Or it could be your master cylinder.

Well, the only spot that I see that anything is leaking is around my cv boot(it's cracked, need a new one). Other than that I don't see anything leaking. It's weird because the brake fluid is almost instantaneously gone. I'll check it for 3 days, it stays at max, then all of a sudden my brake light is on and there's barely any in reserve. Damn hybrid problems.

bad MC or leaking? I just find it weird that I can stop from 60-0 in no time, but while sittin at the stop light I have to put my e-brake on so my car won't roll back. All help is appreciated guys.
