my friend is selling his 91 rex (si) for 1500 its has kyb struts zc with si tranny a couple of dings and a bit rust but nice paint (looks ok). the zc burns a quart every three day. I've been looking for a beater/winter car and the zc sound fun (at least its not a d15) do you think it a decent deal and what you thing about the oil? rings and how hard?

a quart every 3 days sounds bad man....might want to find out what is causing that before you spend the dough...
