Default O/T: F/S: 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII

I am only posting this in this forum because I know so many of you on a face-to-face basis.

I know the ad says it is a Lancer OZ Rally Edition - I think they haven't updated the VIN information for these cars yet. If you know someone interested and can get more than what I'm asking for it - I'll split the profitt w/ you.

Example: You find someone willing to give me $30,000.00 for the car - we'll split the $1,500.00 extra - meaning you will have $750.00 in your pocket for helping me out.

Reason for sale: Found an awesome deal on another car.

Mods: If this is not appropriate - please IM me.

Thanks!

Well ...if you help me sell one we'll soon find out.

Just kidding - I'm looking at something w/ a little European flavor.

The S2000 will be an awesome car for whomever purchases it - I can honestly say it has been and is the most fun I've ever had w/ an automobile.

It could be an M3 ...could be a Lotus Exige.

I was thinking either a Lotus or a Ferrari when I read your original posts.

I don't know you personally, but you don't seem to be enough of a ***** to drive that new M3.

If your ***** is extra small, you can opt for the SMG

Good choice on the Lotus.

37620 is Bristol, Tenn.

Maybe Autotrader is more screwed up than I thought.

But to answer your question - yes the car is in Tenn.

The exige is a great car but I don't think it is worth trading an S2K and EVO8.

Can you even get the exige registered for street use?

seems like a very niche car..somewhere in the 1600 lb range, with something like a 30-60 weight split? isn't projected price in the 40k+ range?.. my guess is if they do sell lots, many will end up totalled.. but i'll im you anyways..

I don't think Lotus is bringing over the Exige, just the Elise with a Toyota engine (that is what the rumors say).

No offense, but why get rid of two finely honed road tools like the S2K and EVO to get a limey shell with a Jap heart? Yeah, lotus cars do have their appeal. But you've already got two cars most would kill for. Just my .02 cents

"Finely honed road tools"?

EVO = finely honed dirt tool
S2K = finely honed luxury roadster

I'd rather drive most anything made by Lotus on track than an EVO or S2K.

wait until you see how they butcher the thing by federalizing it.

btw if they do use the toyota motor, its gonna suck. i've seen dynos of the thing and it has severe power loss in the 4-5k rpm area.

the official specs indicate a 2.2 liter Toyota Engine making 190hp. Most likely a current celica gt-s/matrix xrs with increased displacement

Toyota should really go back to 2.0L turbos for their small cars.

This VTEC knockoff thing isn't really working out for them.
