hood. i have a stock hood and i put clear spray paint on the bumper becaue it was fading. it work really well but i tried the hood and well.......i messed up bad. i dont have the money to get a paint job so i was wondering if anyone ever painted their hood with spray touch up paint?

 

the guy who owned my car first i believe painted the car by him self. i dont kno what he used, but the hood came out the cleanst. i dont think it would be that hard for a hood. and if u want u can take ur hood only and get it painted it doesnt cost that much for just a hood

 

yea, just take it to maaco. i can imagine it won't cost very much considering they do full paint jobs for like $399

 

thats the expensive paint job too! you can get a full paint job at our macco for like $250. lol, even comes with some small warranty.

 

I know someone who painted a JDM CRX hood with touch-up spray paint. While he thought it looked good, it looked horrible. Don't waste your time with rattle cans, prep it yourself, and get it sprayed professionally.
