on pole for both GT and TC. dope. he's also one of the nicest pro racer i've had the pleasure to hang out and talk to. hmm, i wonder why taz harvey isn't listed?? this would be a local race for taz. just looked at 2003 points standings i guess taz isn't racing this year?
that's bill on the right.
ALMS cars are fast... fastest in class:
P675 Butch Leitzinger 1:24.985 Lola EX257
P900 Frank Biela 1:25.323 Audi R8
GTS David Brabham 1:32.237 Ferrari 550 Maranello
GT Lucas Luhr 1:36.312 Porsche 911 GT3 RS
just noticed Auberlen is driving a P900 also. Dang he is BUSY!

Good to see the Bimmer up front.
Sick of seeing the Audi (Pobst), 0wn everyone at the start...only to get passed @the end.
The Rs6 is too damn heavy..anyone know Audis reasoning not to go w/the S4?

yes, that's Cort Wagner indeed (pretty famous Porsche racer). here is his race profile: http://www.ferrariofwashington....html
i couldn't find anything good profile for Bill Auberlen. but he's basically a BMW factory driver now and race lots of different cars for them. he's known to be fast in any car he drives.

i always have big smile at the track having fun with ppl. doesn't really matter what kind of car. don't forget happy motoring is my motto.
I think i'd actually give up a ******** if I could be as happy as Frank appears to be every pic I see him in. Bad a$$ suit, infront of bad a$$ cars with some really cool people. Too bad i'm not on the left coast or i'd give happymotoring a try
PS: did you get my PM?
PPS: I kicked Auberien's *** in a video game yesterday

VERY fast driver, class act, and the quote at the beginning is oh so true. Down in Sebring he took a Turner car, "worked" on it a little bit and turned the pole at 2-3s faster than anyone else.

looks like your man just won GT race, in front of boris and stuck. justin marks interestingly is only 21 years old.
funny story about boris said, during friday practice he goes off drivers right at the bottom of the carousel and parks it. apparently his brakes are siezed. so communications calls in for a pull tow, and after they hook it on to his car, he gets out and unhooks it and throws the hook as far as he can refusing his car to be dragged. instead he waited for his mechanic to come and release his brakes for him. that was the wild story friday at the workers social. i was the one holding up the damn standing yellow for 20 minutes.

I actually met him at Summit Point for a FATT. I couldn't believe how approachable he was and was able to answer all of my questions.
"It takes money to get you there, but talent to keep you there." That's what he told me and it couldn't be closer to the truth. Great guy.

i have no doubt Bill's personality has helped him in many ways in the sport (other than the fact he is extremely talented), and also keeps him happy. he is so down to earth. you gotta love him.
he and cort might seem pretty different at sometimes, but i heard they're like best buds.
