I have SOHC ZC, and i had the check engine light go off on me yesterday in heavy heavy traffic.. Moving like an inch a minute, looked for the code.. nothing but continuos blinking? Anyone have any ideas? my idle moved up to around 1700.. and it would stay there.. ?! any idea here?

moer details.. is the ecu chipped? which ecu are you using?

 

hah i've checked engine codes before but.. this just keeps blinking there is no pause or anything.. SI ecu .. ? if that helps

 

Well, if it throws a code it will never stop.

It will flash 8 times for code 8 lets say... then a BRIEF pause and then it will either repeat code 8 or flash another set of times for a different code.

See what I say?

 

are you saying that your cel is blinking not the because si ecus dont work like that. sounds like a loose wire or something

 

no my cel isn't blinking :-) but !! i get a code.. look at the blinking light .. and there is no difference in interval! .!??!
