Too much oil in the motor???????????????? help again
if there was too much oil in my motor, would that somehow make oil squeeze out of the turbo?? might be a stupid question, but who knows, cuz i fugur if the oil pan was too full, it would sort of block the oil coming in from the return from the turbo?? would that be a possibility??? thanks
check the dipstick and see if it has too much oil. I don't see any hp gain from runing too much oil. so put the right ammont of oil in it and see if it still leaks. simple as that.
well, i did check it, and there is too much in there, but i was wondering, if that could be the reason my turbo is leaking from the center section??? cuz i heard somewhere if the return gets blocked or slowed way down, that all that pressure in the turbo could push on the seals and make it leak?????
yea, thats the idea i was thinking of, i guess ill try and drain some of the oil out and see what happens, i wonder if the seals are bad now though?
cuz a turbo is supposed to be a straight through design as far as the oil section goes, right?? and if oil is getting blocked up in there, it willcome out through the seals or(find a new ***). sux its about 95 outside too, but it wont stop me!!
