Acura RSX DC5 & Honda Civic EP3 Includes DC5 Integra Type R & 5dr Civic hatchback

Can anyone here tell me where the VTEC solonoid is on my EP3?

I need to know where the hell this thing is...cant really find it anywhere???

So can anyone show or at least tell where the VTEC solonoid is?

If you are wondein just trying to ground the VTEC solonoid..

I cant be specific enough to point out such a samll part, but it is located in an assembly on the passenger side of the crank case, close to the firewall, under the head.

Helms manual has about 10 pages devoted to it, and the specific resistance it should have is 14-30 ohms.

The solenoid itself is small and hard to get to, and seeing as our EP vtec is over with at about 2200 rpm, grounding it might not help anything, but the VTC control is also right there with it, and maybe it would be worth a look.
