Default LS/Vtec Help

hey everyone iM new to this forum and I was just hoping that someone can give me some help with an LS/Vtec engine. I have searched and searched and the way everyone says to build it it jus sounds way to easy when I know its not. so Do you think that wnyone could give me a Parts list of what I would need 2 do this build up?? and I mean do it proporly. the Engine will begoing into a 90-93 integra

whew. you need to search more. but here is a run down of what im using:

b16a head
stepped dowell pins for maiting the block to the head
b18b1 block, decked
usdm ITR pistons
ITR oil pump*VERY IMPORTANT*
LS rods
ARP rod bolts*IMPORTANT IF USING STOCK LS RODS*
ARP head studs
endyn block girdle
gsr tranny
bottem end balenced and blueprinted to 10,000RPMS *IMPORTANT*
gsr water pump

Heres some things you would definitly want to do:

Arp rod bolts and head studs
Vtec oil and water pumps, vtec timing belt
Make sure the dowel pins are in the right place
Blueprint and balance the bottom end

Basically all the same things skribblah said... Also there are many many threads on ls/vtec just search harder and your bound to find something.

Thanks for all your help guys.

i think i have have found a guy that would be willing to part with a B16B head (Civic Type R???) would this work better then the B16A that i already have?

I'd use the head that you already have, throw some springs, cams in it, and save some cash that you could use on other parts of the project.

LS/VTEC set up's are expensive, a lot of work, and some people think they are a waste of time. Those are the people you'll see in your rear view.
