Default what temp. in a oven to melt silicon off of stock lights?

i wanna no what temp. i would put my stock lights in the oven so i can melt the silicon?selling them to a friend and he wants it painted.

umm unless your making a pizza dont use the oven....bad things bad things

use a heat gun...but of course im not sure how 92-95 houseings are but on 96-up heat gun works fine just takes some time

Man you could melt your haedlights into a pizza like appearance if the the temp is too hot or if you leave it for too long. Just use a heat gun and it will work. Might take longer, but you dont want to end up buying a new set of lights. Atleast then you can buy what you were trying to do your self........lol

go to sears get a paint stripper heat gun....its like $20-30

better than a new set of lights

why be so quick to judge that his headlights will "melt"

I put my RSX headlights into a Gas powered oven for 250 degrees and I can leave them in there for hours, the plastic gets hot as hell, but it does not melt. Btw, I've done this over 60 times But I'd say that 140 degrees fahrenheit is a safe bet, just hot enough to melt silicone, but not hot enough to melt slightly durable plastic.

bake 2 450 for 15 minuets. Then baste with a light cream sauce, continue baking for another 20 minuets. Serve promtly.
