Realistically speaking, what would a GSR put out at the wheels with...
OBD2 GSR, with Skunk2 intake manifold, Type R cams (e/i), JDM 4-1 header with 2.5" collector, high flow cat, 2.5" exhaust mid pipe all the way back, and an AEM CAI.
Probably a chipped ECU as well, my question is, will this get anywhere near 160 whp?
I am torn between a GSR motor and an ITR. Reason i want the GSR is, cheaper to begin with, and i can work on it as money permits, rather than dump a shitload into just buying an ITR motor...which route would you take and would a GSR with those mods or close to it make anywhere near as close to what an ITR motor would make with just intake/exhaust?
Also, would a b16 tranny make much more of a diff with the GSR motor, rather than the GSR tranny itself?

no thats low for those mods, if your gsr still has good compression, you can expect to see a good 175-180hp at wheels and about 125-128 in torque. add some adj cam gears on there as well when putting in the ITR cams, if oyu need some just PM me, I have skunk2 gears and some no brand 6 bolt gears.
About 6 yrs ago my old GSR made 170+hp at wheels with cusco cam gears, iceman intake, ITR intake side camshaft and dc sports 4-2-1 header with an unorthodox crank pulley. Now a lot more better combinations are available, no reason why a stock GSR won;t top 180hp @ wheels with simple bolt-on mods, providing motor is still in good shape.

There was no gain in TQ, however there was an 8whp gain in the top end of the graph. The previous set-up was tuned to a perfectly flat A/F curve of 12.6-12.8.
Personally I don't believe he gained it from switching to a Hondata, although it was a nice benefit to have when changing manifolds on the GSR.
