Default well, went to the track.. shitty times, lol

first time at the track..

bone stock GSR..

first pass was a 16.0

2nd pass was a 15.9

3rd pass was a 16.1

My 60 ft were freaking 2.7 on each one basically..

I couldn't launch the car at the track... I'd basically bog down to 2000-3000 RPM's and it would take what felt like an eternity to hit my powerband and shift to 2nd, lol

my trap speeds were 90 mph, is that indicative of what my car SHOULD be running with a decent 60 ft?

No, the high trap speed is indicative that your making good power. Which seems very high for a stock GSR. Get your 60 footers down alot, and your straight.

.3 sec quicker on 60 foot times is 100% possible w/ any tires.. spin on the launch... you will have a better launch than that.. I've heard of major clutch slipping the launch but so far I prefer major spinning (haha)

whoa ****... 2.7! damn boy thats slow. was your grandma driving? hehe jk..

try getting the tires to spin a little bit. try a 3500-4000rpm launch, drop it and feather the throttle if needed. for street tires i find 27-28psi works best. should be able to cut a 2.2-2.3 no problem.

lol..

never been to the track I launch fine on the street.. actually, not big into launching the car period just like to go from rolls...

guess i just need some practice..... once I hit 2nd gear I felt I was moving fine but first gear is what killed me all 3 runs.. should have tried to spin instead I just bogged and landed at 2-3k RPM lol... shitty.
