my car has check engine and its not running right, i wanna know how do you find out what code the ecu is throwing because like in EGs u get the code from the dashboard, when i have the car running the ecu light blinks 4 times stops and again, iono if it is code 4

 

yep its a code 4 if all it flashes is four times quickly then pauses and repeats itself

 

In an EF, the code is retrieved from an led on the ECU itself. pull back the carpet on the pass floorboard and look at the ECU. You'll see a little window on it, and inside that window is a red LED that will flash the number of times that your code is.
