Default What will fit in an 2000 Civic EX?

Hey all,

What motor could I stuff into a 2000 CIvic EX with little or no modification?

And I'm guessing that no V6's would ever fit...

Thanks!

uh, a bit of a vauge question.
Are you asking what other Honda motors are compatible with your 00 EX ? If yes to this question, any 96+ B-series (DOHC) or D-series (SOHC) engine will bolt right in, respectively. If you stick with a SOHC engine, you can totally retain all of your existing motor mounts, axles, shift linkage, & electronics. In fact, you have the best SOHC engine for your class of car, Honda has to offer. If DOHC is your desire, a B18C-R engine is the best you can get, if you wanna stick to ease-of-install. Or you can go H-series (prelude engine) which is a little more complicated than a B-series swap.

It all depends on what you want. You need to be more specific.
