i took out my speedo/tach gauges and wanted to do something custom to them.. but when i finished everything and put it back together.. the needles wont moving. They wont read rpms nor the mph. Is there a way to reset them or will i have to buy a new gauge set? If so.. will the 94-96 EL gauges be a simple plug and play? I plan on getting a h22 swap later on in the year so i might as well get the manual gauges without the PRND on the gauge (on my automatic now). If anyone is selling their EL gauges.. how much? I want it to be as close to my 92k miles as possible.. thanks.

ok what custom thing did you do to your cluster? are the needles rubbing on anything? If you want the El cluster the way to do it the easy and right way you will need to get the cluster with the inverter pack with it and the wiring harness. you can do it with just the inverter pack and cluster but its a pain. just do a search i did a write up on it a while ago

 

yeah what kind of "custom" things did you do? explain and then you will probably find you answer. and good luck finding the el cluster and inverter pack for a good price with you mileage. tell us more and then we can try to help..
