Default Nebody put prothane bush in rear lower of an 88?

Got poly bushings for the rear lower and they say they fit 88-91. They don't look like they should fit bcause if you press out the whole bushing like you do for prothane, you loose the metal sleeve that fits between the stamped lower control arm. I've seen that ES had a 88 only, think I know why. Nebody run across this?
TIA

i put the full ES urethane kit in my 91 civic, this is for the lower control arms, not trailing arms. when doing the lower control arms, you press(or like me... burn) the entire bushing, including the metal sleeve(cut with sawzall) out. the new urethane pc, should be two pcs(stepped so that there is about 1/4" of urethane on the outside of lca(possible third pc to go in middle). you lube up the new pcs, put them in, and then there is the corresponding(read instructions for proper length) metal sleeve that goes in the middle. if your totally not sure, phone ES and ask to make sure.hth
