Default instrumental lights dead

ok...since i reinstalled my deck, my instrumental lights are dead. from the lights on my cluster to the lights on my climate control. the only thing that lights up on my dash is my deck, ebrake light, gas light, trunk light, and my turn signals. i check my fuses and they're not blown. except that i was suppose to use a 7.5 fuse for my instrumental lights and i'm using a 10 cause i didn't have a spare 7.5. but it was working fine with that fuse until i unpluged my deck and put it back in. i'm wondering if anyone could know what's wrong? could the wrong fuse be causing it not to work? i didn't think it would since nothing was wrong before. i hope i didn't mess up anything real bad i tried resetting my ecu to see if it'd make any difference...but it didn't. lol. any help with this would be appreciated. i have a 99 civic ex coupe. i really need to get this fixed cause i can't see anything at night time! it's completely dark! thanks.

make sure your dimmer switch isn't all the way down. if that's not the case then check EVERY fuse. it helps if you have a test light so you don't have to pull each one. if fuses are ok then you got to recheck all wiring and plugs to make sure they are all plugged in.
let me know what you get from there.

thanks...i've checked the dimmer switch multiple times. i thought i'd be hella stupid to miss that...so i've checked it enough to know that's not it. i'll pull out every fuse out tomorrow to get a better look. hopefully that's it. i'm positive that everything is plugged in, so i'm hoping it's just another blown fuse.

i removed my cluster cause i had an si one in for a while. when i put back in my ex it blew the fuse somehow. and it was a 7.5 fuse. i replaced that fuse like 3 times with a 7.5 and it just kept blowing, so i decided to use a 20. lol that made everything work. and then just last week, my friend had me install his deck in his car, and it wasn't working. so we decided to try in my car, it didn't work in mine either. and so then i reinstalled my deck and everything. later that day, i was driving my car at night and nothing turned on, not even my radio. i found a blown fuse for my radio under my hood, a 7.5 fuse, and replaced it with another 7.5 fuse. the deck works now. the only thing i can't get to work now is my lights. dimmer is all the way up. all the fuses are ok. everything is plugged in cause it functions the way it's suppose to, except no lights.

i'm still lost.....
