Have no worries. I work for Brian at Prospeed and we have not had a customer go unsatisfied. If there are ever any problems we will take care of them for you in a timely fashion. Im sure there are a couple members here running Prospeed products that can vouch also.

BTW i run the mugen P-28 chip in my car that made 216whp. Its the best chip IMO.

cool, I'll probably order it this week then. By the way, do you know how about how much you gained from the ecu alone? and is it plug and play or do i have to splice wiring harnesses?
thanks

Im not sure how much power i made with the ecu? But i tried about 8 different programs and this one was the best. It also allowed me to rev my motor to 9K. It is plug and play if you have an OBDI car. If your car is 96+ you have to get a harness converter.

You will be satisfied with the program i guarantee it.

Hows it going Vu. Didnt know you posted here. So are you going to get the headwork anytime soon?

Just curious. Dont forget you need some 4-1 headers to. Better go back to Vegas and win some more money .

Hey,

Yeah I've checked out your page. You have a SICK setup. I know the Prospeed guys must be good, but come on, you must have gotten a lucky car as well, hehe. You're probably making a lot more power than me and I have Todas and 11.8:1 compression . My header is horrendous, but still.

I may try that ecu, someone local may have that mugen program. Does it take out a lot of timing in the middle? It seems that my current chip retards timing around 5000 rpm...

BTW, have you taken your car to the drag strip at all? Must be a 13 second ride?

Take care,

Thanks for the compliments Berkel. Well ones a 13 sec ride, and the other is a 12. The 12sec ride just got sold (minus engine), and will soon be an 11sec ride hopefully within a couple months in a lighter civic Cx. It however wont be street driven anymore.

If your interested email me about the P-28 mugen ecu that we have. Its the same one i run in both my cars. Its by far the best IMO. It doesnt retard the timing at all, and it has the vtec x-over at 5700 rpms. This might be a little low for your Todas. Not positive though. Get a JDM ITR 4-1 or some big name expensive header. Your car will thank you for it.

And for power i try not to consider it luck. We have built a few cars with pretty much the same setup as me, and they all made right around where my civic made. We have a good setup going on right now, and we are trying to improve on it even more. And also there is lots of tuning involved. Tuning is the key to long life for your motor, and max power.

Thanks,

I know you guys must have something good going on over there

I have a VAFC, so I could always move the VTEC point, unless the VAFC is incompatible with the Mugen chip?

I'm gonna check out the prospeed site now.

Take care,
