Check out http://www.bseries.net they have a really good article on comparing the quality and materials of different filters.

honda oil is made by mobil. it even says so on the quart containers. but they use castrol in the race cars because castrol forks over so much money to them.

I'm not trying to pay stealership prices for mobil oil, does honda have "factory" synthetic?

I thought my S2000 used mobil 1

wix filters are better then puralotor and comparable to mobil filters.

yes, you don't have to buy synthetic from honda, you can get mobil1 super syn. or if you use dino oil, mobil clean.

BOSCH is very good if not better... if ure using mobil 1 synthec then dont really gotta worry about the filtration becasue the oil is synthetic... but if u are running your car then then u should worry about what your filter is made up of... no cardboard (all fram) no oem... bosch, mobil 1, or stp.... unless u wanna get high flow racing oil filter...

dumbest reply EVAR

filtration is highly important no matter what kind of oil you use or how you drive.
