you know i'de be interested in that too. just got an 89 rex si from an old boy and i'm trying to get it nice again... the only body problem is that it was backed into in the passenger side rear... crumpled a little and broke open a part to start rusting. the bumper has been replaced, but mounts too deep. and the taillight mounts too deep also. i would like to know how much it would be to get it pull back out straight so all the mounts are correct, etc...

DO NOT let this influence you.
BUT, I would pay $700 happily, to fix my small rust spots. The problem IS I can't find any place that will do it, period. I've brought my car to 6 different body shops. No One will touch it. I have offered up to $2000 too, and I would supply the 1/4 panels. Not one taker.
They all suggest the same thing. "Try doing it yourself". Like I have air tools and a welder.

I have a lot of experience with import bodies and working in bodyshops. When a bodyshop gets a "rust job" this to us is crap work. In a bodyshop they are just trying to get the job in, then straight out the door as fast as possible. Especially when working on those rusted quarter panels. The only "true" way to get rid of the rust is to completely replace the whole panel, not just cut out the cancerous rust and weld in new metal but completely replace it. You can buy complete Q/P pieces, I think for our 4th gen cars they run about $350 a side but don't quote me on that.
Personally I wouldn't take my car to the local "body shop" for rust repair. You'll notice in a few month's the paint will start bubbling because the rust is comming back, it always does on those things, especially if you do any racing with your car which put stress on your body and can crack any filler thats on you ride. I'm just telling you this to be aware. It's best to have someone that cares about your car and the future of it....HEY if your in the Michigan area hit me up, just so happens that a friend and I own a custom import bodyshop.

Good info.
These were the exact reasons those body-shops gave for not wanting to do my CRX's rusted 1/4 panels.
