Mine sounds barely louder than stock. Although I have yet to redline my car yet because I am still breaking in my new motor. As for gains....I can't really tell because I installed the exhaust along with alot of other stuff too so its hard for me to say the RS*R produces mad power.

BUt I like my RS*R.

Gains aren't insane, because the muffler is pretty restrictive in comparison to the N1 straight thru design (HKS Hyper, A'PEXi N1, Tanabe Racing Medallion, etc).

I had this exhaust on my Integra, and I loved the way it sounded, but if you have an open filter intake (AEM/Injen)you won't be able to hear the muffler at all. I have a sound clip of the RS*R on a civic if you'd like. The sound clip sounds exactly as the RS*R sounded on my Integra.

the rs-r sound is similar to a itr muffler but with a deeper tone to it. I have it for over a year now and no regrets.

One of friends made a little over 215WHP all-motor on a built B18C. His car was so loud! He opted for a RS-R Ex Mag and took out his Dunk N1. It was nice and quiet, but he went back on a dyno day, and he made a little less than 215HP (about a 2-3 hp loss at peak) but he lost around 5-8 HP in the mid-range area.

i have had the rs*r ex mag forever. you will not notice any gains unless you already have itake and header. the exhaust will open up th etop end and the header and intake open up the low and midrange end.
i noticed an improvement in the butt dyon after i put on the exhaust but it was only around 5800-8400 rpm

magnaflow and RSR are my choices I'm looking at now.. I guess I'm going magnaflow .. that's kinda a big dyno loss.. I know of a 206 hp gsr that only lost 2-3 midrange hp w/ a type R muffler.. so that muffler must be pretty restrictive..

Where is that sound clip?

no it has bottlenecks that retrict the flow. take it to a muffler shop and you'll have a great sytem after they replace those bottlenecks with straight tubes

Considering that the ExMag uses a chambered muffler, the only big difference you're getting over a stock ITR exhaust is a change in tubing diameter. A chambered muffler won't flow as well as a straight through muffler, and a straight through muffler will never be as quiet as a good chambered muffler. You can't have your cake and eat it too...

That was a pretty nice exhaust when you had it. I used to want one but they were too hard to find back then. Now they're spreading around

You're welcome! Yes, gains are minimal. I mainly bought mine for the look/sound. But after a while I wanted more power so I opted for the HKS Hyper.

If you're going for looks/sound with slight (if any) power increase, the RS*R is second to none in my opinion.
