largest wheel size and tyre combo for eg coupe
i kno i'll probably get ppl shoutin 19's at me. but i want to keep performance and drivability to a high standard. im thinkin 15's with 45's. any other ideas of maybe sumthin bigger? i would love to have 18s. maybe when i drop a h22 in there in the future!!!
if you are going to do 15's do 205/50/15 or 195/50/15 that's it for that size.
check out the car in the link in my sig-a 89 hb with 18's and a b16 and kit.. enjoy
btw-daily driven with those monsters.. pain in the *** but looked damn

You have to consider tire size and offset of wheel when go for biggest size. You will need at least a 7.5 width wheel with a 45mm offset wheel with tire combo of 215/35/18 if you want fit with no problems. When you venture to 18 size you rarley find 7 width in wheel you want. Max out with 19x7.5. I recommend 16x7 with 40 mm offset.
I was rolling on 205/40 17s but always had to pay EXTRA attention to potholes and stuff. 17s also had minor rubbing issues during u-turns. After bending my rims I slapped on some SI rims 205/50 15 (this set up is way more forgiving). Next set will be 205/45 16.
