I just ordered this manifold... but then I looked at the pics more in depth and noticed that the idle valve doesnt mount on the front of it... so I have to assume it mounts to the back...

Does anyone have this intake manifold? Any extreme complications during install?

Do a search, 2point6 did a very informative writeup on his install.

 

the euro-r intake manifold will require modification to bolt up to our usdm heads. i think the problem your going to have is the fuel rail not bolting up and like you said the idle valve.

 

The fuel rail is the tricky part, and there is more than one way to do this. For the IAC you just need to make an adapter plate. The manifold itself has to be modified which is very time consuming. But as already meansioned the Fuel rail is the tricky part.

I have a EURO R fuel rail if your interested, it bolts right up, the only thing thats different is the hole for the fuel line is located in the center. Just Email me if your interested.
