Default required maintenence light

When I start my EP3 the maintenence required light begins to flash for about 15 seconds then stops. Did I just not notice this until today? What could be causing this?

i believe it is to let you know that you ep3 is nearing it's service interval. no worries - it will be shut off by the honda mechanic. if you want to shut it off yourself... i think holding down the odometer reset button while turning the key to on will shut it off.

someone help if i'm wrong.

I tried the odometer button, but that did not work. Any other suggestions?

with the key out of the ignition, press and hold the odometer reset button. While holding it, turn the key to on until the maint. light stops flashing and goes off. Turn the key off.

should be all set
