JDM RHD conversion??
the main part is usually the welding...your front clip has to be cut off and a new one welded on basically...theres a bunch of spot welds...there was a post about this recently a few weeks ago do a search
why does the whole clip need to be welded on? why cant i change all the steering rack, the dash, the heater box, the harnesses, and the pedal tree. everything else shoud be the same. right?

Are you ******* high? Cut you whole clip? No. Need a RHD whole clip? I would say yes so that you can have all that you need for it. But Weld a front clip? Wow I wonder if his local shop is bending him over the counter?

well, for the sake of answering your question, and keeping it at just that, here's an overview:
1. find a complete JDM EG front clip (w/motor is highly suggested)
2. find some bodyshop who's willing to do this work for you
3. the gist of the rhd conversion for EG chassis is mainly the firewall section. You'll need to get your US EG firewall removed, and apply the JDM EG firewall and everything else RHD related (dash, pedals, MC+booster, steering column, heater/AC unit, etc). Recall how I mention getting a JDM EG front clip w/engine is highly suggested? I say that cuz you need the JDM throttle cable, as it curls around the engine bay. Usually, engine-less JDM EG clips don't have a throttlecable.
4. Wiring is next. You might have to mate a the JDM EG engine harness to your US harness somehow....or you just might have to use a complete JDM engine & cabin harness.....good luck finding a complete cabin harness tho!
Since this is an EG conversion its actually a lot less work to do in comparison to an EF chassis....since most of the work is aimed at the EG firewall and not the frame rails, like on US EF chassis. ...borrowed this from another post

I had this sitting in my garage and I'd figure I would put it on ebay. It might help you out. The motor and body panels I took for my own project.

well first things first..
people. please read... ok? im tired of people making nonsense posts about eg's and 94+ tegs.
If you read, my initial post it does say 91 LS. so an eg firewall would be about as handy to me as a nun with a nice set of jugs and an *** to bounce a quarter off of.
as for the front clip.
i found one fairly cheap, complete from the shifter forward.
Now do i...
Cut it from the middle a pillar back?
swap all the parts over?
cut it at the bottom of windsheild?
or just replace the firewall, steering rack, wiring harness, dashboard, steering column, pedal tree, etc....
what is the best method.
Please speak with intellegence here. anyone who has done this ( probably not many) please help me out.

NOT A DAMN ONE.</TD></TR></TABLE>
he said right there it's a waste of money, but his justification for doing it is just because he never sees them. That's why I said who cares what side of the car the steering wheel is on. We drive on the right side of the road anyway, so the wheel needs to stay on the left.
