As my topic says, my washers are not working. My front doesn't work at all. I held down the handle for a good minute and half, still nothing. then i tried my rear, drops came out of the rear, no spray. They were working fine about a month and half ago, but i have not used them since then. anybody have any idea on what to check? i was planning on just taking it to acura on monday.

 

Do you have fluid in there?

 

check the lines - do you hear the pump working?

and yes check the reservoir

 

tank is full, whats the pump sound like?

 

its definitely the pump. i can hear the rear one working but when i try the front, nothing. you guys think this will be covered under warranty? i have on 01.

 

check to see if the nozzles are plugged with something, like wax or dirt. just stick a needle in the hose opening while operating the washer and see if that clears your problem.

if you don't hear a humming noise when operatiing the washer motor, that could also be your problem. that will be covered under warrenty.

Check the fuse

 

is the washer fuse in the main box in the upper left corner of the engine bay?
