More on GhettoRacer
I know, I know...I should let this go, but it just irks me so much and I didn't get a chance to post it before the other thread got locked. So please bear with me:

the pace i was going in that car (when in the clear track, was 9.5/10th). it does matter to know the student's level because he was a very advanced student and I was helping him extract the last bit. showing how its done is part of my instructing approach and with the students permission, i go at it. it is similar with the evo8 pass on RJ's car. ralph with the evo8 was also of advanced skills and i was teaching him how to rotate the car on turn in and put the power down as early as possible and take advantage of the AWD.

BULLKRAP. Ralph as been to precisely 3 track events AFAIK. Expo 1, 2 and 3. He is a good driver, but he is NOT an advanced level driver, no way, no how. He simply does NOT have enough track time under his belt.
Furthermore, what you did with him is put him in risk of driving over his head. He and I had a fight/discussion about this, and you, Frank were no small part of this. Teaching a novice/intermediate level student advanced driving techinques, and encouraging them is very irresponsible on the part of the instructor. I felt that Raplh was relying on the car to stay on the car and not the other way around.
I still don't understand why/how you can be so pigheaded about this and other events that keep popping up. Do you see anyone else dealing with stuff like this? Don't you think that since you seem to gather such a following of people that strongly disagree with anything you say that maybe, just MAYBE there is something to it?

Mods, feel free to lock this post, but please don't delete it, I didn't write all that just to pick on the dude.
