NEED HELP...
WELL SINCE THE SQEUAKING HAS ARRIVED ON MY REAR BRAKES..IVE DECIDED TO GO TO HONDA AND PURCHASE THE OEM BRAKES..WHICH WAS SUGGESTED HERE...WHATS THE PROCESS OF INSTALLING THE NEW PADS...IVE TRIED A SEARCH BUT IT CAME OUT TO BE 1000 PLUS RESULTS...I JUS HEARD YOU HAVE TO REPLACE YOUR BRAKE FLUID...IT WILL BE NICE TO HAVE STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
and for just approximatly $15 those step by step instructions can be yours, as well as instructions for just about everything else, in your brand new Haynes Manual. But truly, if your going to be doing your own work its worth investing in, you can pick one up for your car at a local auto parts store.
Deffinately good advice. I sell a cd-rom for the 4th gen accord (soon to be 5th gens too) for this exact purpose....but anyhow, it's pretty simple, basically unbolt the calipers, use a clamp to push the pistons back in, pull out the old ones, put the new ones in.....put the caliper back on....make sure you take the lid off the brake fluid resevoir before you start....have some towels handy.....and umm, be easy on the pistons ...go slow.
