Possible to get exhuast system as stock looking as poss.?
I want an exhuast system. But i dont really like the look of a huge muffler that makes crap noise. So is there anyway that i could put an exhuast system in but at the same time get maybe a larger than stock muffler ( and when i say larger i mean maybe 2 inch maybe? im not to familiar with the sizes) let me know what you think? oh and would i be getting more air out of my engine if i had dual like on v6 accords?
There are alot of exhausts that look somewhat stock...alot have dual 2" tips. As for airflow just get 2.25" piping and a high-flow cat and you will breath great....If you do get piping GET A RESONATOR.
Never put a dual on a 4 cylinder, it has no performance advantage and most likely hurts peformance due to the extra bends in the pipe. The apexi ws is pretty quiet while cruising and somewhat lounder under throttle but not anoying , thats what I plan on getting soon. I've also heard greddy makes some lower noise exhausts. I dont know of any that look similar to the stock muffler, Im sure you could find something but it would be hard to know what they sound like unless you know someone who has them.
You can get good quality, high flow, low profile exhaust systems from Magnaflow. I give them a big
