Installed itr B-pipe
Today was the designated day to install my catback... even though i dont have the muffler yet so 4 of us get up at 7:45 in mourning drive over to one kids house to do the install. after an hour of driving around getting breakfast and waiting for my car to cool down. we got to it. we jacked up the car put it on jack stands. got underneith and i was like sh*t were not gonna be able to do it with these tools. we went at it anyway took off 2 bolts and i decided to just take it to a shop. we called Midas and they said ummm 35 bucks half hour. we rushed down their. wait a good 20-30 minutes. till finally i was like were gonna step out give us a call on my cell. so me and one kid drove around for a while meanwhile midas calls my phone and informs me. the pipe u want to put in is alittler larger we might have to modify it . i say ummm most people just bolt it right up .. hes like yea i assume so urmm we might need a gasket too . i'm like you will need 2 gaskets . hes like umm yea .. then hes like its gonna cost u 65 bucks to get it on (which is one hours labor charge) i was so fed up at this point i just wanted it on NOW so i was like yea go ahead get started call me when your done. we got tired of driving around so we drive back in about 20 minutes and my car is ready !! .. so it took them 20 minutes to install it or less. and they charge me an hours labor when he orginally told me 35 bucks .. i got swindled but i dont care screw it less learned. the sound is pretty lovely with even just the b-pipe and there is a lil lil lil gain. i gotta get my hands on a muffler cause its vibrating like crazy i think there is way to much flow for it and i need to free it up. also my car has a like rattle sound now when it idles sounds like popcorn poping against a tin plate. i'm thinking its the heatshield a lil loose ?
